Personal Prayer Stones

by Levels 3 – 5
Students learned the significance of prayer stones in several religions and across many continents, not just our own. They then created their stones forming them from air-dry clay, painting them and carving into them with toothpicks to inscribe them with picture symbols or words that reflect their own Christian beliefs.

Materials:
Crayola Air-dry Clay
Acrylic Paint
Toothpicks
Gloss Spray
